"I believe that if an angel were to wing his way from earth up to Heaven, and were to say that there was one poor, ragged boy, without father or mother, with no one to care for him and teach him the way of life; and if God were to ask who among them were willing to come down to this earth and live here for fifty years and lead that one to Jesus Christ, every angel in Heaven would volunteer to go. Even Gabriel, who stands in the presence of the Almighty, would say, 'Let me leave my high and lofty position, and let me have the luxury of leading one soul to Jesus Christ.' There is no greater honor than to be the instrument in God's hands of leading one person out of the kingdom of Satan into the glorious light of Heaven."--Dwight L. Moody

We have finally made it to Dubai!! It was a very long flight! It is Tuesday, January 17, 3:15 in the morning, and we are waiting for our flight to Dhaka, which leaves at 3:45 am. We are almost there--just four more hours! Once we get to Dhaka, we will have a driver pick us up and we will start the 8  hour drive  to the orphanage.

The network here is slow, so once we get to the orphanage, hopefully we'll be able to post some pictures.

  1. So happy you've all made it safely there in Dubai. Sarah-Kate said she had gone to the mall in Dubai, did you all go, too? Let us know, as soon as you can, that you've arrived safely in Dhaka. We will continue to pray that God makes a way thru the crowds, and protects all the luggage, and all of you. Jenny L.

  3. For all those checking out the Philpott's progress, my daughter, Sarah-Kate, is on the same trip with them. She texted last night and said that she (I assume all of them) had arrived at the ophanage. It was a 10 hour trip from Dhaka. She said there is no internet. All the news for now. Blessings to all, Jenny L.
